Re: Inglourious Basterds
We saw this at the dreaded Odeon, Panton Street in London and almost didn't get in. They were checking all IDs to match the ticket printouts and since ours came from a_person (many thanks again), we were told to wait on the side until everyone else got in. In the end all of us waiting did manage to ...

Re: Sin Nombre
I got my nephew tickets for this in Nottingham and he says "It was great. Very well shot I thought, beautiful as well as terrifying, totally recommend it." I was surprised to see a starting time of 12.30 pm which allowed a late sleep on Sunday and still the chance to see a free film preview. And of ...

Re: Rumba
We saw Rumba at the Odeon Panton Street and it was full. It's a very odd film but I really liked it. We agree with Beate that it's like an acted out comic strip and it's very quirky and weird but enjoyable and different from anything else I've seen. We passed a ticket on to a friend (Finnish) and she mentioned that Julia was speaking Swedish which we didn't realise. We think there was a reference to her mothe...

Re: The Thanks Thread
Many thanks to Tufty for Paper Heart tickets. Much appreciated!
And many thanks also to Beate for alerting me to theatre tickets at Hampstead. I emailed and got two for last night for 'Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme' -- long title, great play!
