Yes, these are the best offers. Thanks to all who help us get these free tickets. Much appreciated! :-)

Totally agree! Vue is offering student rates for all on some nights. (Forget which!) Must be cheaper to do that than to go into the expensive agreement that Orange/EE had.

RIP Orange Wenesdays

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere, but did a search and could not see any mention. EE to drop 2-for-1 cinema offer after 10 years Orange or its parent, has been running for more than a decade but will end after the final Wednesday in February 2015. EE is to scrap its long-running 2-for-1 cinema offe...

Re: The Face Of Love

Not many at Leeds (30?), and some of them walked out after 20 minutes.... But that meant we had nice VIP seats in one of the biggest screens. I looked on IMDB before going - not promising - but went anyway. I thought it better than some films, e.g. the cr*p comedies with long faded Hollywood stars. ...

Re: Nightcrawler

It put me in mind of the paps who were instrumental in the death of Princess Diana.. Indeed, it made me wonder just how much news is set up (Prince Harry in Las Vegas?) And how often media people could help, but don't? (Like the dying man, left to die in the house shooting, and indeed the fate of t...

Re: Best Of Me

Saw this last week - thought it better to go out to the cinema than sit in a standard hotel room watching TV. Thought there would be more posts here than there are. I thought it a great war film - and not what I was expecting (based on past war films). Great performances all round. As for Edith Bowman's interview, well done to Edith for not getting rattled by Shia Le Boeuf. However, she was asking closed qu...

Re: The Congress

One of my most memorable films of all time was Waltz with Bashir, even though I HATE cartoons generally. I went hoping to see something of the quality of Waltz with Bashir, but spent most of the time trying to work out how long to the end of the film. Only 10 people left by the end, and we shared vi...

Re: Pride

Deserted at Bradford, but that could be due to the roads being in gridlock. Why use inaccessible cinemas? Do they not check out when there are long term traffic problems? TBH - was not expecting much this hooked me, not all the time (not 10/10), but I thought it was fascinating and the 80s music hel...

It amused me no end that the Sun hosted a screening of the film considering they were the newspaper responsible for the 'Pits and Perverts' headline.
Exactly!!!
