Re: Sun Perks Discussion

I think they got their fingers burnt ....twice! Firstly, not limiting the offers so more people took up the offers than they anticipated and prepared for and then I think they didn't expect so many to cancel after the trial finished, so the costs are not being offset as expected.

Re: Captain America: The Winter Soldier

The boy and I really enjoyed this tonight, I agree that the 3D was pointless and the very first action sequence was so quick my eyes couldn't keep up and it all seemed a bit of a dizzy blur, but that aside I thought it was great, as did my son, in the 11 years old's words 'that film was awesome'! Ha...

Re: Muppets: Most Wanted

Wembley was also only about 75% full and would say 25% of those turned up after the film had started. We had lots of very young children who were quite noisy and messy, I don't think I have ever seen more popcorn on the floor then what we walked through to leave today, it was really bad. Forgot to m...

Re: Muppets: Most Wanted

Maybe because I wasn't expecting much I actually quite enjoyed The Muppets this morning, the kids and I laughed quite a lot and in some ways I preferred it to the previous Muppets film. I do agree Ricky Gervais didn't bring much to the film, it could have been anyone, but we did enjoy the cameo's. T...

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread

I wonder what they've changed, I did prefer the first half to the second. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

With the interval last night they were allowing people to go out and come back in, so we popped into Costa Coffee next door.

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread

I went to I Can't Sing last night, was not really sure what to expect, but I have to say it is one of the funniest shows I have ever seen! In fact I had my mum & my children with me and we all absolutely loved it, there were quite a few jokes which were a bit inappropriate for the kids, but I think ...

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread

Oh well, we'll take a little pillow and she can sleep on the train and hope for free ice cream! As for the seats, I'm sure they'll be fine, sometimes its better to be high up with 'little people' they get a better view rather than try to look through a sea of heads in the stalls. Very pleased to hav...
