Re: Dirty Grandpa
Well as a life long fan of Robert De Niro this was not a role that will be remembered for his usual acting skills. Can only think that he decided to have one big Rasberry before Retiring. I went with my daughter who is a Zac Effron fan so was more than happy to see him in various states of undress a...

Re: Room
Thought this was a brilliant film. The acting from the little boy was amazing and should certainly be up for an award. I was engrossed from the out set and found it very moving. I had not expected much so this far outdid my expectations. Definitely recommend. 10/10

Re: In The Heart Of The Sea
This was one I had planned to p*y to see over the Christmas Holidays so was delighted to get a wee freebie. It was what I was expecting and I enjoyed the story and found the time went quickly. I did love the Gregory Peck 'Moby Dick' film when I watched it years ago so it was interesting how they use...

Re: Black Mass
Enjoyed this and it was gritty but no worse than some of our British dramas. Johnny Depp was brilliant and very believable in the role. Always like the 'where are they now' follow ups at the end and he was lucky to get 12 years freedom before they caught him. pa*d for this one although using the Mee...

Re: Christmas with the Coopers
I went with the anticipation of leaving feeling really Christmassy and looking forward to all the festivities. Instead I was left a little bored and a bit humbug than Santa. I would have thought with the cast there would have been plenty of chortles but it was more depressing. Still its had it's plu...

Re: Bridge of Spies
Saw this at a packed Westerhailes, Edinburgh last night. From start to finish I was hooked and Tom Hanks was his usual brilliant self. I always love stories based on true events and appreciate the update at the end of the film to say what happened to the main characters. Russian spy or not, I can't ...

Re: Carol
As already mentioned this was not a fast paced movie, I did however enjoy it and Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara gave excellent performances. I did not feel it dragged and was actually surprised that it was 2 hours long as it had not felt like it when watching. Would I have pa*d....No but glad I went...

Re: Steve Jobs
Saw this last night at the Telegraph showing in Edinburgh. Packed house so cannot see why they don't offer more up here for their Scottish readers. Anyway on to the movie. I found this to be interesting and a more detailed insight into Steve Jobs than the film that had Ashton Kutcher playing him. Sa...

Re: Spectre
Went with the family and we all enjoyed this as much as the other Daniel Craig Bond films. Felt there was plenty of action without the usual seductions and a good story line as well. Glad to see the older Bond 'GIRL'... gives me hope..ha ha. He is definitely my favourite Bond and hope he will squeez...

Saw this on a recent trip to Manchester at the Printworks. Impressed with the cinema there and used my times 2 for 1 on the Saturday night so that made the evening reasonable. I enjoyed the story and the scenery but all the way through I just kept thinking why.... would you risk your life to tackle ...
