Re: Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets
Yes i was looking forward to this... but the actors ( major leads) were a distraction from what could have been an interesting visual delight

Re: Atomic Blonde
agree with both perspectives.. stylish as it was retro. loved Charlie Theron's skillset.. and indeed she could have said more.. but she seriously kicked ass in this movie.. 8/10

Re: Spiderman: Homecoming
yer.. not too keen on this. i can understand the logic... new audience... younger, global market and of course they do have the right to make changes to suit it. Watchable summer block buster.. personally Toby Mcguire can rest knowing nothing since has mached his version.

i had problems trying to describe this in spanish at my spanish class.. A Nolan movie that delivers an epic.. The trademark for him is clearly perspectives around a particular battle.. showing both action and non-action.. emotions. A range of critique about it but i don't normally watch war movies.....

Re: Baby Driver
I went to see it last wed at DOK . I had no preconceptions about it... no research etc. i was pleasantly surprised at this delightful summer teen blockbuster with Kevin, Jon & Jamie and the other stars. loved the music and the action and the driving scenes. Normally not a fan of teen movies or Fast ...

Re: Churchill
I have to agree with Beate... that the film showed him to be inept and out of touch about modern warfare then.. and to be consumed by the wars of previous years. His skill set turns out to be speech making and galvanizing a nation. Hugely enjoyable movie via DOY membership. Great performances all ro...

i was not overly impressed with this.. watchable but i felt it was a mishmax of previous plots.. and some were so obvious from a mile away.. it may shed some insights in to origins etc

well.. some interesting reviews from above but of course that is the nature of our freedom.. diversity and differences. But saying that it is probably not an original idea or script. i enjoyed it.. especially the performance of the little girl and the formidable Lindsey Duncan. Likewise it was great...
