I'm not a fan of these YA dystopia films - The Hungar Games, Divergent etc - but something really clicked for me with The Maze Runner. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Good action, interesting story. Fincher knocks it out the park again. Even though I had read the book I was still riveted throughout. The ending is a masterclass in tension.

The film was toned down. It received cuts to make it a 15 rated film.

Wonder what the surprise film will be

Really good build up work, but it throws it away in the last third of the film. Agree with everyone else that there is to much back and forth. It gets confusing at times.

Found this to be a really poor film. Both leads are hideously miscast and the story is not engaging. Compare this to the Paradise Lost doc's and you'll see what a true travesty of justice this true life crime was/is. Sadly this film never conveys the real issues very well.
