Re: Downsizing
I was really looking forward to this film and was willing to try and look past my general dislike of Matt "generic" Damon films. However I was really disappointed, despite a great stint from Krirstin Wiig. As previously reviewer suggests, opening third was great, but then for me it lost it's way. It...

Re: Darkest Hour
Really liked this film, found it more immersive than I thought I would. Great performances all round, particularly enjoyed Mendelsohn as King George. A recommended watch. 7/10

Re: Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri
Amazing film, strong performances. FM was a kick-ass female lead (an oscar-worthy performance right there). Great story to boot, really enjoyed this. 9/10

Good performances, wasn't familiar with the story so found it an interesting watch. Downside is that it was a bit long! 6/10

Jupiter's Moon
The score was absolutely stunning and there were some moments of pure cinematic joy within the film especially the initial floating sequence, which I was in awe of Unfortunately though, I felt that it ran a little too long for me and I felt that they could have had a better film if they had cut 20 m...

Re: The Greatest Showman
Really didn't enjoy this film, wanted to leave after first 10 minutes but stayed to give it the benefit of doubt and tired to get into the spirit. A great performance from ZE, but for me this was the only redeeming feature. Interesting reading that others really enjoyed it, but for me it's 2/10.

Sundance London 2018
I see Picturehouse central are hosting Sundance London 2018 and are offering a couple of ticketing options (both of which are quite pricey; 10 film pass and VIP), but very little info so far re the line up for London. Just wondering if anyone has attended this previously and has any info about their...

Had not seen the Room in advance of watching this (will watch it now!). Thoroughly enjoyed the film, lots of laugh out loud moments. 7/10
