Re: Me and Orson Welles

I wondered where you ended up sitting as couldn't seem to see you in the screening room which wasn't huge so thought I'd spot you. Silly receptionist...what a waste of your time, a_person.

Re: Me and Orson Welles

We saw this at Moving Picture Company screening room last night thanks to the Guardian. We were split on this. I liked it--found it very enjoyable, never demanding but entertaining. My husband thought it a waste of time -- full of cliches and over the top performances. We did both enjoy the Q & A wi...

Re: The Diary Room

Many years ago our beautiful black and white cat Norman got locked in our neighbours' house (he went in through their catflap and hid in an stairway cupboard and then got trapped when they closed the cupboard door). Children and I had no idea where he was and we were frantic and after much calling a...

Re: A Serious Man

Well we stayed until the end but were very disappointed with the film. We had high expectations and the film fell flat. We have absolutely no idea about the first bit in Yiddish and what relevance it had to the rest of the film. There were a few laughs (too few) and the film certainly can be categor...

Re: I won....

Well done to you, Bevvy. I figured you must have been one of the chosen couples as we didn't see you back on the board earlier. You must be awash with all the champagne you've drunk! Glad you had a good time and we are all green with envy!

Re: Odeon: Much The Most Expensive Chain?

According to the Vue website the Senior rate is from 60 not 50 years old. I think Saga may consider you for their discounts (at least they do with car insurance, etc) at age 50 but Vue says 60 for Senior tickets. My husband is actually quite relieved as he hates the idea of being considered a "Senio...
