I think some of you are missing the point. This has nothing to do with co-ordinated care for you. Your data is collected so the state gets a better general picture about people's health, not so some doctor in London knows what your ailments in Manchester are. This is what my Carers Centre newslette...

I think it's a good idea. It has been publicised for a long time in my GP's surgery but you're right - I don't think a lot of people know about it (particularly the well who don't go to the GP or hospital much). I have some medical problems and take various medications and will be glad that casualty...

At the BFI members preview of the festival on Wednesday, it was announced that Tom Hanks would be at both the opening and closing galas. Also that Sandra Bullock would be at the Gravity gala (but I didn't catch any mention of George Clooney!)
