Re: Snow
Our office in middle of Edinburgh next to the castle closed at 1. Not reopening until 11 tomorrow. I left at 2.30. Not a bus in sight so walking home. TBH the weather in city centre is currently fine. I've stopped 1/2 way for a coffee and bacon roll since there are no buses in sight! Most of the sho...

Re: Love, Simon
I'm not the target audience for this but I really enjoyed it as well. It was well done and well paced out. You could believe in the characters and feel for them. It was perhaps a wee bit too sanitised and PG rated to be wholly believable, but that didn't detract. It reminded me of Pretty in Pink and...

Fitting in is Overrated. Fabulous film. Margot Robbie and A,ison Janney are both superb. I remember this story being all over the news in 1992. The skating scenes are impressive and they can't all have been cgi added?! This really got me thinking and actually regardless of knowing the outcome before...

Re: Finding your feet
Not my cup of tea. It was about 30 mins too long and certainly the dancing scenes needed a good edit. 2 walk outs in Edinburgh.
It was fine but did nothing for me, bland and boring.

I saw this tonight at cheap £3.99 Monday at Vue. So glad I finally caught it. Christopher Plummer is mesmerising in it. Mark walberg and Michelle Williams are also on top form. This was gripping and intriguing and mesmerising. Fabulous film.

Re: Darkest Hour
I saw this at the Filmhouse this afternoon. We were the youngest in the audience which really did surprise me. It was a stirring performance by Gary Oldman and he thoroughly deserves the plaudits he's been receiving. Interesting to see the Australian Ben Mendelssohn as the King! Good supporting cast...

Saw this at a packed Odeon last night with my Times+ ticket.
Really enjoyed this, Meryl Streep was brilliant in it. Just git me thinking this would make a fantastic Double Bill with All the Presidents Men!

Hilarious action comedy. Liam Neeson in Taken 47! Still, enjoyed it as action fluff in the season of worthy films. Kept me entertained and cheered me up.
