Re: Whiplash

Saw this tonight at Odeon Tottenham Court Road.

Loved the music of the film and very intense performance from Simmons as a very unpleasant human being indeed a golden globe well earned.

Re: American Sniper

Quite enjoyed this one there were some scenes that were a little bit god bless America but on the whole didn't sugar coat the war aspect too much and the action scenes were well put together.

Re: The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

Saw the screening at West india Quay tonight really enjoyed great effects and amazing battle scenes.

The beginning of the film was much different from what I expected it to be but then I've not read the books.

Can't see many people not enjoying this 9/10.

MANAKAMANA

Saw this this morning at the picture house in Hackney hands down the dullest film anyone could see in their life.

Some people are filmed on a cable car in Nepal mostly doing and saying nothing and err that's about it really!

Myself and half the rest of the audience left early. Avoid.

Re: Nightcrawler

Saw this at Stratford picture house, my only criticism was how relentlessly dark it was and none of the main characters was very likeable but then that's kind of the point. Thought there were excellent performances from Bill Paxton, Rene Ruso and Jane Gyllenhalls evil motivational speaker speak was ...
