Re: Frozen 2
Saw a preview of this at the BFI. Really enjoyed it, though I understand why some people don't. It's a lot "darker" than the first one for sure, more "mature" in a way, which I appreciated. I loved the first one, and wasn't disappointed by this sequel, unlike other Disney sequels. I was surprised to...

Re: Le Mans '66
Quite like the story, even though I thought it was quite slow and long for the most part. A decent film to watch though, and a very good casting as well, but it was not captivating enough to stop me from going to the toilets halfway through, something I never do at the cinema unless I'm very bored.

Re: Jumanji: next level
Saw it at an early screening at Odeon... thought it was long, slow, and pretty boring. Preferred the first one by far, and really hoping they don't make a 3rd, though based on the ending it's very likely they will

Re: Knives Out
Saw this film during it's premiere screening at the BFI LFF, and while the story was a bit slow to start with, I enjoyed every second of it! I love a good whodunnit, and I thought this one didn't disappoint

Re: Aeronauts
Saw it during the BFI LFF. Really enjoyed it. Redmayne and Jones are a fantastic duo. I get it that some people would have preferred this story to be closer to the real thing, but I honestly didn't mind it at all as I didn't know the real story before going to see it... I loved the CGI, was on the e...

Re: Judy
While the casting is certainly great (my, my, Renee can sing!), I found the film very long.... some parts of it were so boring to me that I started to lose focus several times. Can't disagree on the sad film category, it was definitely heartbreaking to watch.

Re: Ad Astra
It was quite a long film for a very obvious ending.... Nothing much surprising, the plot is pretty thin and even the amazing CGI and other visual effects can't really save the day. I find it sad that such a good cast ended up in such a boring film.

Re: Downton Abbey movie
I followed the series from its beginning so I was very excited when they announced they would make a big screen movie out of it, and that pretty much all the actors where back « on duty ». Went to see it at the new Odeon Luxe Leicester Square screening room and we were not disappointed! The storylin...

Re: Once Upon A Time In Hollywood
Not much of a Tarantino fan, I admit, I liked the film as a whole but not enough for it to ever make it into my Top movies of all time. It was quite slow at times, which unfortunately explains why this movie was so long (for me, a film over 2h30 with barely any action until the end is a bore), but I...

Re: The Current War
Went to watch it on its release date (sorry for posting so late haha) and it was honestly exactly what I expected from the trailer: a very good cast in a very weak plot... I heard that some changes were made since its first screening 2 years ago at TIFF, and while I wasn’t part of the lucky few who ...
