The Mule

saw this tonight at midnight in westfield on a mid size screen, and disappointed there was only 6 people in the screen, but this movie is hard as hell! i went in only knowing its based on a true story and that clint is back, which is enough for me. great cast, locations and a soundtrack that gets be...

Re: The Favourite

saw this weeks ago, and all the as the low angles did show of the locations well some of the panning with super wide angles was a bit off :P prob cos i saw amadeus in concert the month before, this movie reminded me a bit of that :P as hilarious as the critics are saying this is, to me, "The Death o...

Re: Mary Poppins Returns

saw this when odeon leicester sq reopened last week, they gave everyone a souvenir booklet :P i thought the trailers looked weak (perhaps cos they havent colour matched it to the finished movie yet) so i wasnt expecting much, but its good, yeah the back story is a bit of a downer, and i think the mo...

Re: Suspiria

saw this late last night (as all horrors should be seen?) and its all over the place, yes it has the "susperia sound" (my ears felt like i was just at a concert after i saw the movie) but this movie is too pretentious to be anything but some vain attempt of a remake/reboot even the ending is aiming ...

Re: Fantastic Beasts 2

I saw it again in lest sq vue, so much easier to follow on a nice bright screen, (dual 4k Sony "finity" projection) and Dolby atmos sound. I've noticed that there's hardly any 3d screening of it, prob cos they know it darkens the picture, which is a shame. I wanted to watch it imax 3d but they got r...
