Re: Damascus Cover

Glad I didn't p*y for this one. Lead actor was so wooden and certain scenes were not needed and had no relevance to the story line. 5/10

Re: Searching

I watched the clip before seeing the film. Was not overly drawn in, but hey it was free and thought we can always leave if its too techy or camera shaking. Well, thank goodness I went, because I was hooked from the start. Really clever idea and story line kept you totally engrossed and as I am not t...

Re: I Feel Pretty

I took along hubby and was expecting lots of groans from him for this comedy chick flick, but surprisingly he enjoyed it, as did I. For a light entertainment movie with a good few laughs, this ticked the box. 7/10

Re: God's own country

A bit late posting, but busy busy with Christmas coming up. I was at the same showing as Stuart Boy and wow do I agree with everything you wrote. I could not believe it when the wally stood up and disrupted the showing. I too was sitting in the same area as you and I never noticed any phones, buzzin...

Re: Stronger

Enjoyed this based on the real life events surrounding the Boston Bombing and thought Jake Gyllenhaal played the part of Jeff very well. How did they manage to make the loss of his legs so realistic. I know they can photoshop all things but when you see the results as in this film, you can't help bu...

Re: The Disaster Artist

Wasn't sure about this before I went, but was very pleasantly suprised and ended up really enjoying it. James Franco had obviously studied his part to the extreme as when the end credits came up and we were entertained with snippets from the real film and people, you would have been hard pressed to ...

Re: The Greatest Showman

Loved, loved, loved this film. Great music, uplifting story and Hugh Jackman is always a bonus. The dancing and Soundtracks really got me tapping and my daughter had downloaded the soundtrack before we left the car park. Played the tunes on the way home and agreed it had been a great night at the mo...

Re: Film Stars Don't Die In Liverpool

After two previous dodgy pictures (Florida Project and Kill a Sacred Deer) I was slightly apprehensive that things come in three. Thankfully that was not the case. Jamie Bell has certainly grown up from his Billy Elliot days and nice to see him reunited with Julie Walters. I had not realised this wa...
