There doesn't seem to be a thread for this.

It on tomorrow at 9pm on itv1. I really excited about this series but I hope it's longer in terms of episodes.

Me too I can't wait. It said last year that it would be returning for 8 episodes this year but I cannot find where it says it, so hopefully my memory is right. :cross:

I am so excited for the new episode tomorrow. :D

The second series is indeed 8 episodes and Julian Fellowes has already confirmed that he is working on a third series.

I'm on spooks side. Shouldn't probably say this on this topic but I can't stand downtown abbey.
But valda next week spooks is back to Monday night.

I've got Sky+ so that's ok but I've been looking forward to both shows coming back.

I suppose if I watch Spooks first I can fast forward through the ads when watching Downton.

I wonder if the naughty footman is back? Him from Corrie :shifty:
