I've become more than a little obsessed with graphic novels, Sandman has to be one of my favourites, closely followed by V For Vendetta. But you can't get much better than collected comic book storylines imo. The Astonishing X-Men (volumes 1-4) is hard to beat, and you can never really go wrong with any Batman ones, recently finished re-reading Hush and it was as good as the first time round.

just finished Old Man Logan. whew what a trip and that ending - although I do think the final showdown could have been tweaked a bit since theres little to explain why the Hulk family become so villainous.

Honestly, cannot see the film living up to this, not with the key protagonist missing.
