Re: Weight Watchers
Whoop whoop that is brilliant Clare. Well done you must be so happy
Gosh with your body clock being out of sink that is a brilliant achievement.
I am having cottage cheese and Ryvita for lunch - luckily remembered a spare toothbrush so don't have it stuck between my teeth . Having frittata and salad for dinner this evening.
I am going to do my utmost to fit in a gym session after work tomorrow evening but I have a friend (our very own Canadian Turtle) coming to stay on Saturday at 10am until 4.30pm on Sunday so need to fit in my visiting too. We will be doing loads of walking and sightseeing so even though my diet may not be good hopefully the walking will counterbalance it Saturday brunch www.richmondtearooms.com and Sunday dinner anniesmanchester.co.uk
Have a fun day everyone

Well done to Clare!
And roll on the jam roly poly pud for Diane -- you will deserve that treat.
As for Preston -- spinning so much must make you hungry hence the lapse with Mr K's bakewell slices. At least you only had one package in the house!

What an awesome start to your New Year ........ And great to hear that you are enthused to keep going too!
I watched the latest "Tom Kerridge" and "Trust Me Im a Doctor" offerings back to back on CH4 last night. They are both turning out to be really interesting viewing. Compelling and thought provoking stuff!

Re: Weight Watchers
Thanks for your support :)
I have a few healthy eating / diet programmes on my Tivo to watch, must get around to it this week!
What are you guys' favourite healthy snacks? I tend to find that late evening is when I get peckish & tend to eat unhealthily. My favourite snacks are natural yoghurt with honey, & Carrs crackers ("table water black pepper" - they're very tasty)...I'm trying to have these rather than biscuits / chocolates!! Would be grateful for more ideas...

Re: Weight Watchers
I too am loving Tom Kerridge, his recipes are brilliant. I must say watching that nurse cook in her uniform also with a stoned ring on was like OMG CROSS INFECTION!!! Need to catch up on the other programme.
If I need a sweet fix I go for a jelly (I know not ideal but not many calories) or a banana. I know that seeds etc are healthy but I know that I would eat too many. Just having banana on Ryvita for lunch (had a cottage cheese mishap - its in a carrier bag ) and an Activa rhubarb yoghurt but next week I will go onto natural yoghurt with frozen fruit in it as healthier. Sadly I won't be able to visit the gym after work as need to do visiting plus clean the house as won't be able to this weekend.

Cleaning the house sounds comparable to a gym workout, Diane!
Enjoy the weekend!

Thanks so much. It shows what a fabulous site this having friend's that I have made on here staying at my house. A few of us Mancunians from here are going to our beloved Town Hall on Sunday for a free tour before it shuts for 6 yearsejwrank wrote:Cleaning the house sounds comparable to a gym workout, Diane!

Re: Weight Watchers
I love this site too for making good friends :) Hope to meet you all sometime! I like the ideas of your healthy snacks Diane, think I'll be trying cottage cheese as a few friends have said it's a healthier option, & I've not had Ryvitas for years so might start b*ying them again xDiane65 wrote:Thanks so much. Re: Weight Watchers
What can I say except that I have done lots of eating out this weekend
Did lots of walking but lots of eating.
If I maintain on Tuesday I will be delighted.
Has everyone else been good?
