We have a few tickets available to an amazing show at Cadogan Hall on Friday evening: The Kings Singers

The King's Singers are back with another beautiful programme of songs!

Canti della Rosa combines music in honour of the Virgin Mary from the Renaissance to the present day, starting with Willaert's beautiful setting of Ave Virgo which is set above a cantus firmus of the plainsong, Inviolata Est. The five movements of a new work by Ivan Moody for The King's Singers describe different aspects of the adoration of Mary, and frame music by Byrd, Reger, Joubert, Pärt and Lassus. This programme will be performed without an interval.

Programme:
Adrian Willaert: Ave virgo sponsa Dei
Orlando di Lasso: Regina coeli
William Byrd: Beata viscera
Ivan Moody: Rosa I
Anon: There is no rose of such virtue
Trad. arr. Lawson Veni, veni Emmanuel
Ivan Moody: Maria e San Giuseppe
Philip Ledger: Advent calendar
Philip Radcliffe: Mary walked through a wood of thorn
Tchaikovsky arr. Lubbock: Crown of roses
Ivan Moody: Su Piantu 'e Maria
Juan de Padilla: Versa est in luctum
Max Reger: Das Agnus Dei
Ivan Moody: Non piangere per me
Max Reger: Morgengesang
Arvo Pärt: Bogoroditsye dyevo

He has written and starred in three series' of the Saturday afternoon comedy show Out To Lunch (BBC Radio 2). 2008 saw Rob return to the Edinburgh Festival with his brand new solo show BOOBS 2008. In Autumn last year Rob began hosting Comedy Congregation, a monthly night of serious laughs, impromptu music and sinful good times in London's glamorous Madame Jojos, with recent headliner's including Russell Howard, Stewart Lee and Lucy Porter.
"As sharp and versatile as a Swiss Army knife, Rob Deering is one of the best performers currently on the circuit." The Independent
Naz Osmanoglu - Winner of the Amused Moose Laugh-off Competition and Runner-up in So You Think You're Funny, Naz Osmanoglu, has hit the London comedy circuit running. "He is a name to remember, however difficult that might be. Very confident, very original and tightly performed" Richard Herring
"There are probably more original and fresh ideas in the first ten minutes of Wit Tank than many sketch shows fit into an entire hour." **** Chortle

Ray Peacock is one of the most popular comperes, headline performers and TV warm up acts on the circuit. In 2007 Ray began presenting his Chortle hosted Ray Peacock Podcast alongside Ed Gamble and Raji James. After performing in the Comedy Zone at the 2002 Edinburgh Festival Ray went on to take two solo shows to Edinburgh.

"Hecklers be warned - take Peacock on and you might just spark off the second War of the Roses." Metro

Free tickets for Michael Jackson exhibition for Sky customers on 22nd January at the O2 bubble:

Password is MJSKY

The website is run very similarly to booking for film tickets via sky

I know this is not strictly a theatre or concert, but I think this is the most appropriate thread for it, unless we start another lenghty discussion with a free exhibition thread! hehe...
