We are very excited to have a few tickets to quirky comic Tape Face as he lands in the West End opening at London’s Garrick Theatre - his unique style of humour must be seen to be believed!

We only have a few tickets and as ever, we really need FEEDBACK as that is why we have the tickets (and of course to showcase the fabulous Garrick Theatre). If you fancy a laugh, hurry as we only have a few tickets ...

Conjuring uproarious laughter by using the most simple of everyday objects and popular songs, Tape Face brings out the inner child through clever and charming humour. Combining every trick in the book from mime and magic to silent film, Tape Face is the enthralling sensation who was likened to a modern-day Charlie Chaplin by Simon Cowell.

Film Preview with Q&A at BFI on Wednesday. Mick Rock.....

#1987 Post by youpigirl » Tue Jul 11, 2017 6:06 pm

We are delighted to have tickets to an exciting preview: SHOT! The Psycho-Spiritual Mantra of Rock on Wednesday evening at BFI Southbank.

Fascinating documentary examining the life and work of Mick Rock, ‘The Man Who Shot the Seventies’.

Mick Rock has led a life befitting his name. Also known as ‘The Man Who Shot the Seventies’, Rock was a photographer whose images defined an era. Starting out in the 1970s, he forged close friendships with the holy trinity of Iggy Pop, Lou Reed and David Bowie, capturing their performances and helping create the mythology around these icons. This enigmatic documentary puts Rock centre stage and confirms that he is just as important as the artists he photographed.
