Re: Coronavirus
I am amazed at the number of people who appear to breathe through their chin!!! What good does that do wearing a your mask hooked under your chin or coming on to a bus with the mask on and then taking it off when you sit down. Some only have their mouth covered not their nose. It is not rocket science to know that you need to cover mouth and nose at all times on local transport or in shops.

Re: Coronavirus
if u r replyng to me, i mean the last death peak was months ago, its the belief that there wont be another one thats the issue as you say.
We even might well get get a new strain which would be back at square one. People dont believe it...until it comes! The selfish ones dont know that the 2nd flu strain back in 18 was worse for the young people....
(just want to add theres lots of decent young people too doing the right things of course,I'm not youngist!)

Re: Coronavirus
I can understand why people wearing glasses would wear a mask further down their face. Its to stop going blind when the glasses inevitably steam up. I work at manipulating the shape of the nose section to prevent that, and i'm pretty good at it, very few steaming episodes.

Re: Coronavirus
Just thought I check in and say hello from London. I'm missing the chat and news on here. I'm missing FMUK friends and films. Hope everyone is keeping well and safe. Today on my walk I was amazed at the numbers of people standing around outside the local pub drinking-- the streets were far too crowded so if this is lockdown, well I'm not sure it's working. Keep well everyone.

Re: Coronavirus
Lovely to hear from you Ejwrank and Chelle1973.
I too hope that everyone is keeping well.
I am still working and luckily escaped the virus so far but my colleagues are dropping like flies and sadly been really poorly with it some still struggling 8 weeks on with their breathing. I have just finished my last evening of dog walking duties for my colleague who had Covid - I didn't see her (all done by text even down to opening her car so I could get the uncontaminated dog lead out of the car) they just released the dog and it dragged me around for an hour each evening. I am now on twice weekly testing and massively concerned about patients mixing over Christmas then expecting us to visit them when the viral load will be through the roof.
I have started doing online courses and nice to catch up with friends again even though just on Zoom.
Hopefully this time next year Covid will be a distant memory.
