Rest in Peace

I attended the funeral this afternoon with my friend. Large turn out and a nice humanist service celebrating her life. Moving speech by her daughter and a poem read out by her son. Spoke to her husband, and a big hug from her lovely mother who I knew well. Didn't go to the reception afterwards just came home. Will be sadly missed. RIP.

Thanks McG. It wasn't easy as that was where my husband's funeral was held and I hadn't been there since. Marjorie became a good friend through fmuk and I have known her mother for many years as did my husband. It was a surprise the first time Marjorie brought her mother to a free film and found out who her mother was!

Can I add my thanks to you, biggins for sending condolences from us at FMUK at Marjorie's funeral today. That must have been tough for you after all you have been through recently but I am sure it meant everything to Marjorie's family. And you are so right -- what a small world....
