Is that all she is known for over here? She's written three books about her time in Nazi Germany and having to flee with her family, first to France then to England, and her subsequent life here. The first, When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit, has been (maybe still is) on the curriculum for German schoolchildren for decades. I remember it well, it's a great book.

We went to a talk not that long ago that Judith Kerr gave -- she was wonderful! Recommend you read 'When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit' which tells the story of her family's escape from Germany.
