Catching up with Presidential debate. This is hilarious. Trumps response to assaulting women "we're gonna break ISIS". Its the babbling of a nutcase. How on earth has this guy got into a position where hes running for prez? Clinton could just win this by letting him talk, and then smiling for the camera Garry Shandling style as a form of reply.

Last night 20/11/2016 I watch Josh Tranks Chronicle. I generally enjoy found footage films but I loved this as it puts a new spin on FF films. The film gets pretty dark at stages but I really enjoyed following the guys transformations

I watched the first episode of "This Is Us" last night. It's fantastic, and such a clever twist at the end, bringing it all together! I can't wait what else they have in store.

I watched Coraline last night! I've watched it so many times so it is quite comforting.
I do think it's a great film. From watching the special features you can see how much work went into production.
Think it's really easy to get sucked in the two realms of the film.
It's pretty scary for a children's film but very well done :)

Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.
Despite being thoroughly nothing to do with Dirk Gently, and therefore threatening to be a complete waste of time for fans of DG, its actually watchable. Yet I underline that it is wholly nothing to do with Adams work except for having a kooky supernatural mystery edge to it. More American shows deserve this kind of offbeat direction, but they rarely get it. Its a true hybrid of Brit and American tv.
Biggest mystery for Dirk would be, why call this show Dirk Gently? It would have hung together fine as a show with a different more marketable name for the USA.
Damn, that Matt Smith effect is clearly still lingering. First Newt Scamander is a Matt Smith clone, now Dirk apparently is.

Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr Fox. A quirky little stop motion animation. Love the feel of Wes Anderson's films, this or Grand Budapest Hotel might be my favourite of his.
I have the film on DVD and the special features are quite informative. Love how laid back the production was when recording the voices . It was good to know that the voices were often recorded in similar locations to that of the film and the actors could chat back and forth. Really liked this as apposed to the typical isolated recording environment.
Loved the soundtrack and Jarvis Cocker's cameo haha.
The only aspect I wasn't sure about was the character of Bean. I can't remember the original book all the well but I remember Bean as being quite a bit different. Sort of less professional? However, in the film he is voiced by Michael Gambon and seems professional and smartly dressed. Might have a quick flick through the book so I can properly see what's so different about him.
But nevertheless, I still really enjoyed the film and will watch again! :)
