I was not a fan but did like the Jackson 5 stuff.
It was a shame that a person who had so much talent and the "it" factor was obviously given no real support personally. Here was a man with deeply set problems/issues. Whilst I appreciate his contribution to music, I find it hard to have compassion for a man who lived his life the way he did - whilst he was found not guilty, he was hardly proven innocent. I accept that as a "boy" himself he probably saw no problem with his behaviour but someone should have been there pointing out just how ill-judged his actions were after all the allegations did involve one of the most vulnerable and most easily led within society.
I will continue to appreciate what he did for music and indeed music video but as a person I can offer no such accolade!
