Ha ha. Or:

Use standard approach to rectify:-

● Try again

● Reboot and try again

● Hope somebody else solves it, have a drink (any kind), go home

The reason that rebooting works is because no program is perfect. Errors build up over time and a problem that wasn't there when the program started appears apparently at random. Hence the need for testing and updates. No program is immune to this and that includes all operating systems ever written. The effect gets worse the bigger a program gets.
Rebooting clears such errors but they just accumulate again until the next reboot.

My son wants the new PS3 game - Lego Jurassic World. If I b*y it in USA, will he be able to use it in England on his Playstation? I know some games can only be played in certain zones, but some can be played universally. Any advice would be most welcome, and could save me some money. Thanks!

Does anyone know how to make an app? Very basic one and no costs?

I am having problems with my laptop, everything is on a go slow, on checking task manager it says my CPU use is anywhere from 50-100%, it jumps all over the place, it was fine on Thursday, logged on yesterday and anything I try to do takes an age and finding it so frustrating. No idea what has happened overnight. I am using Firefox as main browser, which seems to be using over 50% of the CPU usage, Windows 10, laptop is acer aspire which is just over a year old so warranty now expired. I have already rebotted several times and it makes no difference. I have done a scan with windows definder, everything seems to be up to date and also did a malware scan and nothing found. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Is the whole laptop slow on startup or is slow once firefox has started?

Not really sure as I mainly use for internet, but I just restarted yet again and even before I started Firefox it was still using a lot of CPU, upto 89% and the main culprit on start up seemed to be Windows Modules Installer Worker, whatever that is. It says there are 56 background processes running and 2 apps, which are firefox and task manager, I dont know what most of these background processes are and what they do so no idea what is causing the problems

Perhaps you could try restoring your PC to a former state.
This doesn't uninstall any of your apps btw. Everything stays in tact.

Thanks for the link, but on checking no option for Windows 10, I really hated Windows 8 and would hate to have to go back to it.

Sounds like 'Windows Modules Installer Worker' is performing automatic updates or scheduled maintenance, this person seems to be having the same problem in Windows 8 and a possible solution is to switch these processes to manual so you can choose to run them when the laptop isn't required for use, not sure how well the instructions translate to win 10 - http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... 409323f258
