Kissing the floor, it is so good to finally have a proper site again!!!!
Now all we need is the status quo from the old site and we are good to go!

I feel like we've all just moved houses and are settling in again and putting things where they should go! Feels so homely and other than me, everyone has kept their old name so seeing alot of familiar peeps! With the exception of me as a rebellious young person changing my name! :lol:

This "moving house" and "finally settling down" feels quite good! Almost getting there!

And thanks to this - ahem - newbie- who's really immersing herself into the site by posting in Film Discussion! Cracking job!

Most of it is currently unavailable but some is being retrieved from google.
When the original site reappears it will be copied over here.

Is it really just currently unavailable? I get the webhosting main site which I find quite worrying really!

It takes time to restore from backup and then restore various permissions and updating DNS settings. Andrews is lucky, her ISP picked up the updates early.

I see that AYBG has not installed all the Regional boards yet but I have started posting some London stuff in the one called Test, if you can rescue stuff, whatever it is from the old site, I would post it there and we can move it about later. The threads I created on London like events calendar etc., can you please PM to me so I can add. Thanks.

what/how are we meant to do to move stuff over from the other site?
andrews mentioned something about word but i don't have word (i won't bluddy p*y for something that use to come free with yr puters) and if we do copy it from the old site, what are we meant to do with it when we get here?

At the top of the page is "print view", its just above the page number. If you go into that you can highlight the entire page, copy it and paste it over here. Its not the same as reposting everything but it is quicker and does preserve the original content.

ok, thanks you, am giving it a try but it keeps on saying webpage expired, will try some other bits and see what i can do.
