Not Receiving Email Alerts

Have been marking the free films section as read. But still not receiving any alerts.
Very odd as I used to receive. Now nothing.

when you log back into the forum, does it appear unread? as i noticed that although i had marked them as read, the next time i logged in, the font was a darker blue suggesting i needed to click on them again from the new pc i was using to check the site. once i clicked them all to show they'd been read, i received an email from the site when a new screening was advertised! :)

Marking all forums as read sometimes temporarily fixes the issue. But it is a much bigger technical issue causing the lack of alerts.

It's a forum problem not a user caused problem.

I received nothing over the weekend, one yesterday and none today.

I log in frequently and mark as read every time I visit.

No updates from the forum owner AYBG in over a month.

I've done exactly the same thing and have not received alerts for months.
It's very frustrating as it causes problems, particularly when I'm offering tickets to people and don't notice they've got back to me..

I think I may have missed out on a Free Film alert recently too.

Yes it all seemed to work fine for a week then I weirdly got an alert for a PM at 4am but when I followed the link it was for one I had read yesterday evening. And a few other alerts not been turning up. The wood I touched wasn't woody enough.

There are issues the site end that's why :) Its great when people post what has worked for them but it does tend to be temporary because the origin of the problem is not down to the user but the site.

Just had an email alert for Sisters which was apparently posted on Tuesday 24th Nov.
