Since the majority can do all April dates, so let's firm up for 21 / 28 April ? :P

Please note, there is not actually a majority for 28th, I can do either 21 or 28 so both dates are feasible as both dates have 2 votes each - plus 1 vote from me for either dates, if I can vote that way!

28th April is now in the lead. To be honest, the "I can make all dates" option is pretty useless in deciding which date to go for, isn't it, and for a true choice it should have been omitted.

Anyway, I'd already suggested three of the restaurants that the fox came up with (didn't get any thanks for it but hey) and I'm currently checking out the others and will add the websites to her post to make it easier for people to have a look at. Not being local I wouldn't know about food quality etc but have to admit that The Pitcher & Piano looks spectacular. I would prefer somewhere where we can have our own room or corner so it doesn't get too loud. I'm not good with noisy crowds these days and kind of suffered the last time I was in a really noisy restaurant.

The food at the Kilpin is not a favourite of mine.

I thought that my useless poll re any date was a good idea as by omitting it it wouldn't be a true reflection on what dates people can actually make. Some people can only make 1 day but I can do any.

The poll isn't useless at all but if you have to decide between three dates then in my opinion the fourth "can make all of them" option doesn't help the decision process. I can also make all three but I opted for my preferred option. After all, the question is, which date is most convenient, not which dates can you make. Sorry, didn't mean to offend.

I've voted for the 21st. The other dates will be a bit trickier, but I may be able to make them.

I think we should just go for the consensus so far, as the sooner we are firm on the date the sooner we can get the ball rolling on planning and booking to get the deals that we want! o/
Big thanks from me too.
Lots to go on with that extensive list. o/

To be honest, I skimmed your post that day, and was too busy to type anything back and then of course it past, so apologies, and thanks to you too! Also I do not think the options are pretty useless, if I posted it, I would have allowed for more than one vote, so we could potentially vote for all the days that are convenient, but one option for all the dates, works just as well for me! :P Thanks Diane. In all group events, you cannot please everyone. At the moment, there is no majority. We should make a decision soon, by Sunday the latest? I am sure it will be fine, and we will get a suitable date. o/

I agree, it would be sad !

May be it was a different poll, it used to be that we can change our votes? ;)
