Site Down Earlier Today?

I had problems last night.

My experience today mirrors that of steve9872, i.e. other sites fine throughout, FMUK intermittently unavailable.

I've been unable to access FMUK through my laptop for a few hours now. A similar thing happened yesterday but not for as long. I'm writing this using my mobile which is connecting with no problems.

I have been unable to access the site since just before 3pm at my laptop at home, I tried in chrome & IE without success when the Theatre alert came out with no luck, but have come into work and logged straight on.

The message I got was this site may be temporarily down or permantly moved!

I originally thought that this was just a problem with my mobile internet but I too had issues with accessing the site to read PMs and look up theatre links.

I was cut off all afternoon, I tried Firefox & IE from 2 different computers and still no luck. I am relieved to learn it wasn't just me, and so glad a code wasn't posted this afternoon as I would not have been able to see it.

i also had problems from about 1pm but whilst i couldn't get on someone else sent me a pm so it must have just been all over the place for a while. all seems fine now though :)

I've seen this behaviour before, all it takes is one server on the route you're using to do this. If your connection doesn't use that server you don't notice problems. That's why a broadband connection has problems but a 3g connection is ok - different routings.

i've had real problems getting on here several times today :s

also it's showing as though there are new unread threads/posts but there aren't any when i check.
