Deleting posts

Hello

Didn't there used to be a little 'x' next to the exclamation mark when you went to edit a post. Th e 'x' allowed you to delete. It's not there anymore... was it ever there? Am I going mad?

Its been moved, its now at the top of the page immediately above the subject.

I didn't move anything. I can see ! ? 0 x at the end of each post.

can't see the little x anywhere! It used to be next to the exclamation mark. The ! is still there at the end of each post and that's it, nothing else.

The x is only there for 5 minutes after you post, or until someone replies (whichever comes first).

Edit your post and write "please delete" to make the mods aware of this

So is it not possible to delete older posts then? I would like to do that. Can an admin help?

Why would you want to delete older posts? If everyone had that option a lot of threads would make no sense if people deleted older posts. The option to delete before someone replies is good in case you decide you no longer want to post. It may be difficult sometimes though if a thread is popular and people post immediately after you though.

The reason why you can see that is because you are admin so you have power to change, edit or delete someone's post. Mods will have similiae powers but probably not as much as you depending on how admin gives them.
