You may all know already, but in case you do not, the Government Eat Out to Help Out scheme means participating restaurants give you 50% off food and soft drinks, capped at £10, so if your meal is £20, you only p*y £10, Mondays-Wednesdays only, during August.

Remember if you want a dessert or coffee and you have reached the cap, just go to another restaurant/cafe and get a new cap! There's nothing stopping you to go to one for starter - get the 50% off and then move to another restaurant, and so on, so each course is always capped, as it is unlimited use. So to make the most of the £10 cap per restaurant 😅 e.g. the starter & main is £20, the dessert is £8 and the coffee £3. At a single place the total would be £31 and you’d p*y £21. But separately, you’d get the full 50% off, p*ying £15.50😅.

If you have a favourite restaurant, enter their postcode to see if they are participating: https://www.tax.service.gov.uk/eat-out- ... restaurant

Also suggest you look at the restaurant's website too - some have added their own offers like Dishoom, there is no cap, just 50% off food and soft drinks - and they have bottomless chai !

Enjoy!
