Showcase Insider Card

#1 Post by zildjian » Mon Jul 18, 2011 8:13 pm

Showcase have a card you can get which you can go and see movies on a Tuesday for £4.50. (the card is free obv).

It came with vouchers to use: free 3d glasses, £4.50 entry sun-thurs, and £1 of a combo meal.

Its not the worlds best offer but if you stay near one it might be beneifical. Its not mobed any more than a normal night imo, incase anyone thought itwould be like an orange wed.

Just thought id give the heads up, not sure if it has been posted already.

In the old days the insider card was needed for their free previews I went to a few and then they stopped a couple of years ago. They kept emailing offers for use with the card but to be honest they were poor offers and Showcase is my least favourite cinema in my area.

I still have my card just in case they ever offer anything decent.

In terms of the cinema itself i do prefer the Showcase near me. Other than that the prices for anything are horendous.

At the very beginning they did have a few free previews, then it became 2for 1 and more commonly now, a reduced price entry. It can be useful to use on Tuesdays as tickets all day cost £4.70 (at least it was the last time I used it). The best offer we had was for the screening of "Les Miserables" anniversary concert when the saving was £7 discount per ticket. My friends had to quickly apply for tickets!!! I suppose it's worth having the card as it costs nothing and who knows what offers they might give?
Preferred cinemas: Best: Glasgow Quay, Glasgow Braehead, Glasgow Renfield Street, Glasgow Fort & Paisley
Others I'd go to: Glasgow Showcase Baillieston
