This is a suite deal (sorry). De Vere Venues (not to be confused with De Vere Hotels) are mid-range hotels usually costing about £49-£125 a night - but with this offer, they're £20/room - as cheap as the budget brands.

It will release 10,000 rooms at 10am on Thu 11 Jul for 48 hours, at 20 venues for stays between 20 Sep 2013 and 30 Dec 2013.

Warning: The last time De Vere ran this offer, its website crashed due to heavy traffic and many had difficulty booking. We asked De Vere about this and it said it's done everything it can to prevent the same happening. As the sale starts at 10am, rather than midday, this should help control traffic to the site.

The sale's being advertised as £10 per person, but since at least two people must stay, the cheapest you can get a room is £20. Plus up to two children aged up to 12 can stay for free (though not at some hotels, see below).
