Still holding out for big bags for £1.50 as you only need 2 bags for 1 ticket so £3 per ticket. At present all the offers seem to work out the same ie £4 for a cinema ticket whether using small bags or large. I definitely like a REAL bargain. Mind you, there might come a time when i will consider the £4 tickets.

Thanks to MrsMgtMcG for the info that the big bags of Minstrels, M&Ms, Revels and Maltesers are now half price in Co-Operative. £1.49 each. Offer ends 16/9/14.

Tesco offer of half price smaller bags at £1.00 ends on 9/9/14.

Don't miss out!

Also do remember that if you have an NUS card that's an extra 10% off, therefore that's £1.34 for the large bag at Co-op.

Bloody Maltesers!
I've just spent the afternoon trailing about Co-operatives in the area looking for these larger bags after hearing from McG that they'd been selling out. I reckon I've wasted more in petrol than I've saved on these big bags. Since when did Revels become so popular? I seem to remember amongst us last year that they were not so popular at all. Most shops have sold out completely of them all, but of the ones that had any its Maltesers that remain. I'd have thought they'd be the most popular after the TV ads promoting them to women especially.

I rarely eat chocolate, so no idea on size of bags, but the 99p store had some last week with codes.

Almost certainly these will be the ones where you need 4 to get a free cinema ticket. £4 per ticket.
The large ones half price cost £1.49 but only 2 bags needed so £3 for a cinema ticket. o/

10 Sweet Sundays left, folks (including tomorrow).

Seems currently only Tesco has large bags on offer at £2.00 instead of £3.00. Not quite the £1.50 they had last year.

Is anyone else having problems reading the codes inside the bags? :wall: I've been entering my codes tonight and have discovered that I've obviously written down the code wrongly and even when I've tried the change of some letters/numbers which could be other eg Z or 2, O or 0 I still can't get them right. I had tried putting on the overhead light to see if I could make them out but no better . . . I'll need to try again tomorrow in daylight! Some were very clear and easily read while others are a nightmare!
I'm annoyed at the time I've wasted opening all the packets, decanting the sweets, turning the bags inside out, writing down the codes and then re-instating the sweets to their original bags . . . only to discover that 4 of the codes are wrong! . . . and I only had 11 in total to do (in different names of course! ;) )

Never mind, I'll be happy with the free tickets! o/
