Inside the newspaper this weekend, you'll find two CDs - Music from the Masters 2011 - featuring essential pieces of classical music chosen by Classic FM presenter John Suchet whose lifelong fondness for classical music has informed his careful choices. This collection includes a range of pieces that exemplify Suchet’s accessible approach to the classical genre.

Volume One features exclusive recordings of favourites including Handel’s rousing Hallelujah chorus, Puccini’s Humming Chorus and Beethoven’s dramatic Egmont Overture. You’ll hear another side of Beethoven, Suchet’s own favourite composer, in Volume Two which includes the Moonlight Sonata, as well as a virtuoso performance of Grieg’s tempestuous Piano Concerto and Elgar’s stirring Pomp and Circumstance March No.1.

Performed by a variety of powerful orchestras and renowned soloists from around the world, this collection won’t be mistaken for mere background music. Fans of opera will recognise the Humming Chorus from Madame Butterfly, ‘Dies Irae’ from Verdi’s Requiem and Wagner’s overture from the Flying Dutchman.

TWO FREE CLASSICAL MUSIC CDS - ONLY INSIDE THE TELEGRAPH JANUARY 15 AND 16.

Free inside The Daily Telegraph on January 29 - get a free 52-page Essential Guide to Garden Birds.

This guide will show you how to attract more birds to your garden by putting out certain foods and providing the correct habitat.

Using RSPB's beautiful colour illustrations, the top 50 garden birds are presented in order of the most prevalent to our gardens providing a stunning reference guide for you to keep all year.

Free inside The Sunday Telegraph on January 30 - get a free CD - The Dawn Chorus.

This CD has been exclusively recorded for us by the RSPB and features three different atmospheric recordings of woodland and garden birds. An ideal way to bring spring a little closer!

RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch takes place on January 29 and 30 and is the world's largest wildlife survey. It's fun, free and easy and helps the RSPB track what is happening to our garden birds.

You can take part wherever you like - at home, in your local park, or as part of a group at one of the events near you. Just spend one hour on January 29 or 30 counting the birds that land in your garden.

Find out more at www.rpsb.co.uk/birdwatch

Free Penguin Modern Classics from The Telegraph
Get your free copies of F. Scott Fitzgerald's Babylon Revisited and Henry James' The Beast In the Jungle inside The Telegraph next weekend - February 5 and 6

F. Scott Fitzgerald's Babylon Revisited will be free with The Daily Telegraph on Saturday, February 5, and The Beast In the Jungle by Henry James will be free inside The Sunday Telegraph on February 6. This special offer is to introduce Telegraph readers to Penguin's new series of Mini Modern Classics: short fiction by writers of lasting quality.

Penguin Modern Classics launched in 1961 with distinctive grey spines and evocative pictorial covers – a look that, after various incarnations, still inspires the current design. The original books – like Franz Kafka’s Metamorphosis, Carson McCullers's The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby – are still considered landmark classics.

In February 2011, on the fiftieth anniversary of the Modern Classics, the list is expanding with the publication of the first Mini Modern Classics. Each book is a quick literary hit and though they do not take long to read, they’ll stay with you long after you turn the final page. The Mini Moderns will surprise with little known works from some of the greatest Penguin Modern Classic authors, from Albert Camus, Vladimir Nabokov and Raymond Chandler to William Trevor, Eileen Chang and Ludmilla Petrushevskaya.

For the two free books to celebrate the launch of the Mini Modern Classics,The Telegraph has chosen lesser-known masterpieces by F.Scott Fitzgerald and Henry James.

Babylon Revisited offers three short tales that demonstrate why Fitzgerald was the defininitive chronicler of the 'Jazz Age' generation.

Henry James’s devastating novella, The Beast In the Jungle, is the story of a man who has spent his life obsessed by the feeling that some life-changing event lies in wait for him like a jungle animal. Then the day arrives on which the true nature of the beast is revealed …

Don't miss out on your free copies in The Telegraph on Saturday, February 5, and Sunday, February 6.
