This is just plain stupid. The OH received an email telling him he had won two tickets to Taste of Christmas (before I stopped entering when I got free tickets from the link above), and the email sends him to a link where he has to enter his details again and then he gets exactly the same unpersonal invitation pdf as in my post above. So really, anyone can go, why bother entering with the Standard?

Went to the Taste of Christmas today and it's heaven if you are into food! You can b*y lots of nice food gift packs, there are tastings (lots of cheese about!), cookery demonstrations, competitions... It's not cheap though and I recommend to b*y from the hot food stalls only if you are into that particular restaurant, as the prices are steep for tiny portions - and you have to b*y crowns as currency to p*y for them! Most other stalls accept pounds. The food is good quality though and the OH ran into someone he knew years back in Brum! She gave us some extra when we b*ght from her stand.

I've just got back from there. The event was actually a lot better than I expected. There were plenty of taste samples to be had. Anyone going in the next couple of days - be sure to pick up the Waitrose 'countdown to Christmas' calendars that are piled up in various locations. They have various money off your shopping coupons including one which is £5 off - no minimum spend!

Yeah, I was thinking that afterwards - take two items and p*y separately at the till - one by me and one by OH! Hadn't really looked at the vouchers until now though - thought they were all minimum spend!

I am terrible at posting freebies, but if you go to my sky website, where you get tickets for Avatar and the Michael Jackson exhibition, they are also offering free tickets from today at the O2 bubble for the british music experience.
I managed to get tickets for that on the 22Jan, same day as for the Michael Jackson exhibition, which is quite handy, as it's quite a trek to the O2.

Isn't that also the day of the Mamma Mia Screening?
