Have fun everyone tomorrow, I've got a flexi day off work and heading off to Birmingham in the morning. :P It feels lovely knowing I've got not got to go to work tomorrow!

I did, indeed, have a lovely time! We were given champagne on arrival, then canapes, had a welcome speech from the Beauty Editor, shop assistants showed us around the store and introduced us to all the different products and we tried everything, had a hand massage with shea butter, my hands have never felt so smooth, and all the while followed by several photographers, and film cameras!! I think they overdone that bit! 15% off all spend, so great for savings on Christmas pressies. And when we left, we were given this amazing goody bag, 12 items from their range: hand and foot cream, face cream, shower oil and gel, eye balm, beauty milk, shampoo and conditioner, gentle soap, cleansing foam and even water for the face! Thanks for posting Diane65.

I'm quite glad that we didn't have all those people filming us in Islington. I would have hated being filmed having my makeup done.
They were very generous with the bubbly - they kept refilling our glasses. It's a wonder I didn't fall asleep at the theatre afterwards.

It was a really good evening. I got chatting to our Women and Home rep – the cookery editor. She said that these types of events are really popular with readers and so W&H are planning to organise a number of other similar events. The next one is with Space NK. Have booked for Canary Wharf – anyone else going?
I hope that we will not be disappointed following the L’Occitane evening, which was really enjoyable.
