Shrek the Musical tickets for Wednesday 8th June reduced from £55 to £15 (no booking fees on top) Upper circle and stall seats currently available via Shrek the London Musical Facebook site. It is a royal gala night with The Prince Of Wales attending. The direct link is

They keep adding more tickets as was about to post earlier and no tickets left, then an hour later found 2 tickets and 4 seated together available. Also when you check it reserves tickets for 5 minutes before releasing them back for others to book so if no availability worth re-checking a few minutes later or seeing if they have added more tickets later in the day.

This June, Goodwood will be welcoming a different kind of jockey to the racecourse when top international DJs Boy George, Chris Evans and Mark Ronson take to the decks to create a fusion of racing, music and dancing. We are offering you the chance to b*y one ticket and get one free, that's two tickets for only £38.

Three Friday Nights will see the parade ring transformed following the last race, to become a dance floor where music lovers can dance late into the evening, with the beautiful background of the South Downs at sunset.

Boy George: June 3, 2011. To kick start the Three Friday Nights, Boy George will be bringing his electrifying performance to the racecourse.

Chris Evans: June 10, 2011. Legendary TV star and radio DJ, Chris Evans will bring his own unique style to the second of the three Friday night celebrations.

Mark Ronson: June 17, 2011. The finale of the three Friday nights will go out with a bang, thanks to the spinning skills of Mark Ronson.

All adult tickets cost £38, but you can b*y one, and get one free if you quote 'TELE11'.

Book tickets to Goodwood's Three Friday Nights here or call 01243 755 055.

The Govt scheme anightlessordinary ended on 31st March as they ran out of money after the Govt cuts. Its a real shame that arts are going to get thumped by the cuts.

In response and trying to do my own bit for theatre that I love so much, I have put together my own non-commercial (it doesn't sell anything at all!) site describing the ways that Under 26's and students can still get free / heavily discounted tickets - the page is: http://www.londontheatreticketscheap.co ... -under-26/

I am not ageist (I can't be as I am a long way over 26!) and also included info on how anyone can get cheap / free tickets. Hope you find it useful now that anightlessordinary has gone.

Be part of @ntlive on 30 June as #TheCherryOrchard broadcasts around the world: £10 tix for in-studio perf w/ code 3844

Cherry Orchard 30 June 2011

by Anton Chekhov
in a version by Andrew Upton

This performance will be broadcast live with several cameras in the auditorium and views of the stage may be blocked at any time during the performance. Please note:

* This is a studio performance.
* The light and sound will be adjusted for broadcast.
* There will be 360degree filming – resulting in audience members being filmed.
* No latecomers will be admitted.

Details of the cinema screenings are available on the National Theatre Live website.

Set at the very start of the twentieth century, The Cherry Orchard captures a poignant moment in Russia’s history as the country rolls inexorably towards 1917. This spirited new version of Chekhov’s last play reunites director Howard Davies with Andrew Upton following their acclaimed productions of Philistines and The White Guard .

Ranyevskaya returns more or less bankrupt after ten years abroad. Luxuriating in her fading moneyed world and regardless of the increasingly hostile forces outside, she and her brother snub the lucrative scheme of Lopakhin, a peasant turned entrepreneur, to save the family estate. In so doing, they put up their lives to auction and seal the fate of the beloved orchard.

Hear what I have to say about the Cherry Orchard, because it is mine. I say bring it down, tear it down. Smash it down and tear it down. Watch, watch. Just you watch. I will build holiday villas, as far as the eye can see. I will build a place for everyone to come and enjoy. For the future. And this will be the future. A new life. A new way of life. Here! Come now and play. Play. Play! Get the band to play.
