Re: Wrath of the Titans
Another hilariously crap line -
'Cronos is near!'
no shit, seeing as there was a 100 foot man stepping out of a volcano just yards away. ANd he really looks 100 feet tall in IMAX shhheesh.
I actually loved this. It is funny as Tartarus and as epic as it was dumb. Who writes these plots anyway? The Greeks certainly didnt have one line of plot taken from their illustrious mythology.
By the time you giggling at the God Hephaeston (Nighy) who seems to originate from Middlesbrough judging by his accent, you ask yourself, well why not?

Debating whether to see this. I was told it was just mindless enough to help a mate over a break up!

Re: Wrath of the Titans
This is the definition of a big dumb blockbuster. Simple plot which involves a series of set pieces, minimal character development and cheesy dialogue. All that can be overlooked if the action scenes are impressive, but in this case, they are too fast and blurry and are extremely difficult to follow.
I saw this at the BFI IMAX which only seemed to draw more attention to the poorly executed action sequences where the 3D adds very little.
6/10

Re: Wrath of the Titans
Yep I was at the Imax yesterday with Funthing. As she said it was all rather fast and blurry. Some dreadful dialogue with even worse accents - thank goodness for Fiennes and Neeson. Is Sam worthington unable to hold an accent for more than 2 sentences?
All in all enjoyable nonsense, made better by being at the Imax. 7/0
I must say that the Imax ident thingy before the film was epic. Totally freaking me out
