I managed to catch this with probably the last preview before general release at Holloway. Not the best of cinema’s that left me which a back-ache… anyway here’s my feedback.

Let’s get this straight… so this is a film about a grown man and a talking teddy bear. As preposterous as this sounds, this was actually quite good. If you’re familiar with Family Guy, you’d know what to expect. Some crude humour mixed with some snappy one liners some of which seemed to fly by much of the audience at Holloway. If you’re not familiar with Family Guy you’d probably wonder what the heck was going on and that this film was quite ridiculous.

Overall, it’s not a real masterpiece and by no means a “OMG, I’ve got to see this” but it was still enjoyable…silly but enjoyable. I was actually quite surprised my OH enjoyed this as well since she is not a fan of Family Guy.

A solid 7/10

Did anyone see this on July 30 at the Trafford Centre? Was it full, & did it start at 630?
Friends & I really wanted to see this, but traffic was horrendous and got there at 645 to be turned away because it had already started and was full? Never been to a packed out showing.

Really enjoyed the film, brilliant cameo's! Might not be everyone's cup of tea but if your a family guy fan you'll appreciate the 'crude' yet funny humour and references to 80s nostalgia. I would give it 8/10 (the cameo's pushed up the score) :D

Manchester screenings do seem to be getting full now and more often people being turned away that turn up well before 6.30pm, especially at the Trafford Centre who insist on putting these in small screens and then wonder why its full! This was also packed out at the Manchester screening earlier in the month and some people didnt get to see it.

We got to the Trafford Centre on July 30th at 6.00 pm and a long queue had already formed. It was full, there was one seat as far as I could see that was empty and it did start at 6.30 pm.

akh43 is right, we were in a small screen which is not unusual at the Trafford Centre.

It was funny but unfortunately I made the mistake of watching the trailer so I knew some of the plot.

Something different, childish but in a good way but too much unnecessary swearing.

I liked it esp.
when he is thrusting @ the checkout making it bleep and when he has a fight with his grownup friend
