The Knot
[i did search / check but didn't find this had been posted yet. unless you know better??]
trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGVDp2U3aB8
wedding related romcoms are still flavour of the month as this is billed as a British Bridesmaids meets The Hangover apparently.
funny how many films are named 'the knot' after a simple google for the trailer.

Re: The Knot
This is abysmal. Bad acting, poorly written script and distinctly unfunny. 2/10.

Re: The Knot
Went to a private screening at the Soho Screening Rooms tonight, via Millies Cookies Club comp.
This is very similar to A Few Best Men, but with the mishaps happening to both the Bride and Groom. It was very cliched and we all guessed what would happen, and everything that could happen, happened. However, I did enjoy this a lot more though, it was fun and it was British! The audience enjoyed it too, raucous laughter from everyone! 8/10
On arrival we were all given a Millies cupcake. There were also pre-film drinks. Then Noel Clarke arrived, he starred and co-wrote the screenplay, and I said 'hi' to him as though he was a long time friend! The other screenwriter and the producer also arrived, and the three of them introduced the film and then stayed behind to meet and chat with us. I then managed to get photos with all of them!

Re: The Knot
It really doesn't get worse than this. Odds are quite good that this will be the worst film you see this year (if you see it, which you REALLY shouldn't)

102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

Re: The Knot
Me if the first free film in weeks (and I take what ever is offered, because there are never clashes), I really liked a few best men and That's my boy, so I reckon I will probably enjoy this. Hopefully!
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"
A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."
