Neeson deserves better than this.

Wait, this could easily be a description of the first film.
It follows the same everything.

True but the first film feels a bit more slick and more coherent. We followed Neeson's character and it worked better with having the daughter off screen until the end. I don't remember cringing or rolling my eyes like I did in this one.

What a poor film. You had to laugh throughout which I doubt was the intention of the film makers. I also wondered how Kim ("Faster, Kim....Faster, Kimmy"-- what a script) could drive a stick shift -- the percentage of Americans who can is pretty small -- at least it was when I learned to drive both many decades ago. Of course there were so many stupid things about the 'plot' and I use the term loosely, that it is hard to pick out just one. Glad to share the experience with Zoe Banfield who thanked me for letting her be her +1 which was generous given the awful film.

My point exactly! that's all I could think about is stick gear and clutch.

the highlight of the evening was the massive queue to get your phone back! it went all the way back to the stairs!
i was positively bursting for a pee but it was either bathroom or phone...the phone won and i wet myself. no regrets.

I'm late to jump on the bandwagon but here I am! I thought it was absurd and had such an awful script but I did find that I actually enjoyed it, more in a so-bad-it's-good sense.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.
Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.
