Saw this on Monday and thought it was brilliant. It got more of a reaction out of me than any film has in a long long time. Well worth a watch.

Both of the momentum codes have tickets at the moment for 11 November but they do not have Vue West End in List...
Preferred cinemas:
Central London and North London as far north as the Hampstead Everyman including Picturehouse Hackney/Notting Hill Gate - but not Wood Green and North Finchley as they are just a bit too far.

Even I remember the Dorian Gray screening and I wasn't there -- only read about it on the messageboard.

FYI I got tickets for this today using the same code that had been "sold out" when scheduled for the Vue. I'm hoping they are issuing more tickets and using a bigger cinema (West End Odeon) and there will be seats.

I feel that this film is in a similar vein as Harry brown. I just hope hope it is not as violent otherwise I'll be watching it through my hands.

after watching movie, it did leave some effect on me for sometime(only 5 - 10min). but then i realised that end wasnt conviencing. movie just ended it cause Gray had to bring it to an sellable end, which they did.

the story building was brief but very involving and generated lot of interest about the characters and story. it did involve audience's attention right from start. like murdering his wife & daughter and crime case of their murder. Nick's philosophy of court battles and cases and ugly truth about them. and later Gerard's idea to trick Darby and his crime mate. then killing of the Judge was brilliant and kept me in shock for about 2-3 min after the scene. it was brilliant.

ultimately the Nick had to be made hero at the end of it. although to me Gerard was and only hero. of course, my choice was because the way the Gerard's character was drawn from the begining. and in the middle there background about Gerard's profession till then there was no idea about what he does for living.

towards the end, Nick finds a tunnel being built from the prison to one of Gerard's property, which is like very stupid to end the suspense. I understand that it has to have something sellable but not this. Gray should have thought of something innovative, which was shown in the most part of the movie. it did kept on my seat wondering whats next.

overall movie is good. I am not expert but I would rate it around 3.5

Saw this last night in Glasgow Cineworld which was almost completely full.
Really liked this movie, quite original IMO - it was interesting to see the actions and motivations evolve.

It was clever in the tricking of Darby, and the judge's death was an excellent shock to the system! I didn't mind the tunnel as it explained away neatly the 'accomplice' who controlled the robot gun.

I thought the mayhem caused by the bomb would be the trigger for Nick to eventually kill Clyde, not beforehand. And that you didn't find out how Clyde meant to kill Nick and/or his family.

8/10 from me.
