Preference of cinemas:- 1. Glasgow Renfield Street Cineworld, 2. Glasgow Showcase, 3. Braehead Odeon, 4. Vue Fort, 5 Glasgow Springfield Quay, 5. any other cinema in Glasgow area including Hamilton
Also Falkirk, Dunfermline and Stirling but these are rarely used for free previews.

Re: Gravity
Just saw a preview at the new Cineworld Imax,Glasgow. Those that are going to see it next week are in for a treat.
Brilliant and should bring another oscar nomination for Sandra Bullock.Special effects are jaw dropping and the 3D is amazing. One of the best films of the year, beats even Captain Phillips,a solid 10/10.
Try and see it in Imax 3D,if not make sure that you see it in 3D and on the biggest screen that you can.

Re: Gravity
Any idea if the free showing at cineworld on Tuesday is 3D? b*ght tickets earlier in the day for Giant Screen in 3D on November 7th, not sure if its just worth waiting for that and experiencing it properly.

Does anyone know if this will be shown on one of the big screens at West India Quay tomorrow?

Re: Gravity
I thought they are all more or less the same size? Most previews are in screen 1.

Re: Gravity
Is it a good size screen? Or will the film lose a bit of atmosphere with it being a smaller screen?
Re: Gravity
Screen 5 is huge - very much on par with the regular ones in The 02 (discounting the Super Screen, of course). I would not be surprised if the movie ended up in Screen 1. Thus far, the only preview they had in Screen 5 was 'Little White Lies', the logic of which still baffles me up to today.Beate wrote:I thought they are all more or less the same size? Just been turned away from Shaftesbury avenue for this as the seats were full and also didn't have the correct I'd, this has never happened before, oh well, off to enjoy some Street entertainment there's plenty of time around, city of London is buzzing tonight, I'm not even bitter about the missed movie!
