You'd be better off experiencing this on a bigger screen and one in which you're at zero risk of picking up a venereal disease.moviemannn wrote:Just been turned away from Shaftesbury avenue for this as the seats were full and also didn't have the correct I'd, this has never happened before, oh well, off to enjoy some Street entertainment there's plenty of time around, city of London is buzzing tonight, I'm not even bitter about the missed movie!

Re: Gravity
Disappointed that Bolton Cineworld having technical problem with the film. Waited 40mins end up offering us tickets to come back when it officially out plus we can watch any other film tonight. Not bad
Re: Gravity
oops went to watch gravity not realising it was 3d. anyways it is very enjoyable. wasn't expecting Sandra bollock in this type of role, but it went down well with me. excellent 3d experience for a change, even flinched a couple of times.

Re: Gravity
Just returned from seeing this at Shaftesbury avenue.
Nice to see ejwrank!
Visually stunning film that though you knew the plot it still had you gripped. Was at the edge of my seat a few times and thoroughly enjoyed it.
7.5/10

Re: Gravity
Bradford cineworld - we had subtitles and a small screen which I believe wholly affected the film. It was visually stunning but that's about all the positives for me.

Re: Gravity
Just got back from seeing this @ Enfield Cineworld and have to say that I thought it was a superb movie.
Visually breathtaking & incredibly tense throughout this is easily one of the best movies that I've seen this year and therefore deserves a comfortable 9/10 from me
...
P.S regarding the 3D, whilst it did add some depth I don't necessarily think this needs to be seen in 3D to be fully appreciated (I'll eventually find out whether or not that's actually the case because I'll definitely be going to see the 2D version in a few weeks time

Re: Gravity
I went to see this at Cineworld in Glasgow. Arrived a fair bit later than i anticipated and ended up in the front row (not my ideal viewing point).
For the first couple of minutes i thought i was going mental, nothing was in 3D. They then put the correct lense (i am guessing) and it was fine. Glasgow Cineworld have a habbit of ruining the start of films. The screener of Argo i saw they had one direction playing at the start of the movie, rather than the sound of the movie.
Anyway, back to the movie. i dont know if it was because i was in the front row that made the 3d effects werent as stunning as i hoped(if that even makes a difference). I think i would have enjoyed it more in 2D. I did enjoy the film though, and i think i have a mancrush on Clooney. He is the man!

Re: Gravity
So should I see this in 2D or 3D then, as I couldn't make it to the free screenings, and want to attempt to save!

Re: Gravity
I would say 3D and if possible on an IMAX screen as this film made good use out of the 3D opportunities within the storyline.BLADEFRONT wrote:So should I see this in 2D or 3D then, as I couldn't make it to the free screenings, and want to attempt to save!
