Gremlins continue to show up. A check of the expired threads shows http://www.fmuk.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=20557 which is the original thread from free films and all the codes there just work. The thread however shows the whole thing is from 18 months ago.

I did wonder at the times, but missed the BFI date at the top of the page :wall:
Even thanked my ticket fairy

Is it worth turning up on the off chance of a film?

I suppose so, if you want to see the film, and the Cinema is not too far away from you. If there has been a mess up and they do not have the film, the Cinema might offer you free admission to see another film showing. Then again you might be seeing Frankenweenie ! lol

Didn't realise the mistake and gave them to my mum and she took the kids only to be turned away  after she had b*ght 2 popcorns and drinks :(

Surprised SFF didn't issue a email prior to the "event" to stop people wasting their time

SFF did issue an email, I got mine at 12.25 informing me "Frankenweenie is not screening tonight - system glitch‏ - Due to a glitch in the system, you may have received an old reminder email for Frankenweenie. This is not screening tonight and we apologise for any inconvenience."

I never got any apology email, even though they did send me a screening reminder. Didn't try to use it though as was at Bad Neighbours.

I got email at 8pm this evening re no Frankenweenie screening . . . not much use as it was after the film was marked as starting!
I would complain to SFF, Mihangel, and see if they offer some compensation . . . assuming the cinema didn't offer to let them see another film.

Seriously? Someone actually went to try and see this tonight?
Yes, SFF was pretty stupid doing this but didn't alarm bells ring due to the fact that a) this isn't a preview anymore and b) the blurb was the old one mentioning October's LFF? Oh and c) that we tried to tell people here it's a system glitch?
