Just got back from seeing this film. Very disappointing and a truly mediocre film. Not the worst I've seen, but certainly nowhere near as funny as the trailer looked. Very forgettable film, so 4/10 for me.

Incredibly self indulgent work from Seth MacFarlane. It is far too long, a lot of the jokes fall flat and it's biggest problem is MacFarlane who is the wrong actor for the lead role. 5/10.

If ever there was a film where all the funny bits are in the trailer then this is it. If you've seen the trailer then you've seen the film.

Okay but nothing brilliant.

6/10

There is a small scene after the credits if you can be bothered hanging around.

I agree with the critics and everyone on here, this is very poor.

There's one cameo and big laugh and a few chuckles but overall pretty mediocre

Less funny than half a Family Guy episode 3/10

This exactly, all the funny bits in the trailer there was no point in actually going to see the film. Was very disappointed.

I'll go slightly against the grain on this one & say that I actually thought it was quite entertaining.

Yes a lot of it's best moments are in the trailer but there was enough additional material to make watching the film feel like a worthwhile experience.

Thought Charlize Theron was great in this and I liked how things developed between her character & Seth MacFarlane's.

It's not the best comedy I've seen this year but it's not the worst either so overall it did just enough to get a 7/10 from me...

Q. What goes "bad joke, unfunny joke, racist joke, pointless cameo, stupid song, vaguely funny reference to an 80's film, pointless cameo, spurious defaecation, unfunny joke, end"?

A. You can probably guess by the title of this thread.

I love Family Guy, and Ted was great. This was just rotten.
