Yes, I went to a private screening last week. Here's my belated review.

Very stylishly done, by Tom Ford, once a fashion designer, so expect images to look like it has come out of a fashion magazine. Really tense, and at places quite violent, I was intrigued and absorbed, but also quite disturbed by the traumatic drama unfolding. 8/10

Did you find the opening scenes difficult to watch?

Oh yes, I see what you mean. It was definitely an eye opener, and strangely mesmerising. Also a little confusing, until you see why.

That's what I loved about it. You never sat and watched it without feeling a little unsettled.

I loved this! Although it was uncomfortable viewing it's a movie that I thought about days after!

It`s a strong and powerful story about love, revenge and redemption.
It`s definitely worth of watching.

Need to see this again - suspect we'll spot lots of extra clues missed first time round.

This was really good! Michael Shannon was brilliant!! Bit disappointed with the ending though. Think another watch will be on the cards soon. o/

Just watched this and would recommend. Full of intrigue and great performanes from all the leads - Adams, Gyllenhall and Shannon. Definately one thats raised some debate afterwards and will continue to for some time. 8/10
