Re: Moana
Beautiful to look at - songs OK, if not quite as memorable as Frozen.

Re: Moana
Went to see this last weekend.
Had heard great things about it and wanted to see what it was like.
I wasn't disappointed! Very funny and enjoyable throughout. I loved how different Moana was to other Disney female leads.
Glad I went to see it! :)

Re: Moana
Moana is a very sweet, enjoyable film. The singing didn't make me go 'argh musicals' apart from when Dwayne Johnson did his number. I love Dwayne but maybe he should do less of that kind of singing! Overall recommended.

Re: Moana
I saw this on dvd last week.
Best Disney film in a long time.
Zootropolis was good because it was just darn clever, Moana I would use the word "amazing" to describe without hesitation.
Amazing scenery, art and colours, catchy songs and great characters, good dialogue.
Disney again veered away from the typical boy/girl romance with much success.

Re: Moana
yes was very good, although I thought her name was pronounced Moana. Mo-anna is much better, since she didn't moan much. Couldn't ignore that the firedemon felt like a loose reference to the nuclear testing on Pacific Islanders (well mass murder of them really) by America, which yields the movie a sour, sickly aftertaste. Someone surely in production should have seen that coming before they released it.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?
