Given other people's comments this is clearly going to be another "marmite" film.

Absolutely loved this film, from the opening shots all the way through to the end credits.

It looks amazing, the use of the soundtrack is wonderful, the leads work together perfectly.

Wanted to just stay in the cinema and wait for the next screening to start!

I have only seen a trailer of this. I have to admit that it looked visually stunning and the leads seemed to have a good chemistry between them. The story may be another matter judging by the comments here. Probably a 'marmite' film as fillumboy2 points out then.

I agree with others who were disappointed. Would have been quite happy to leave half way through as it was so slow. I was expecting so much more with all the hype! Oh well, better luck next time.

I thought this film was extremely boring. I struggled to stay awake and only really got interested in the film when John Legend showed up. The leads acted well but I really don't know why there is so much fuss about this film and why it's been nominated for so many awards. You couldn't p*y me to watch that again!

A few friends have seen it and said it was excellent. Not sure if I'm in much of a rush though, will probably watch it when it's on Netflix or whatever

I did give it a second time and still found it mediocre and by the time we get to the dream scene, just wanted to scream!

I'm not keen on musicals that aren't Seven Brides for Seven Brothers but will be seeing this on Friday.

I'll have to give this a chance of being as good as 7 Brides then
